Senior Analyst and Analyst
TDB Advisory is currently hiring for two positions for our Wellington office. Applications for both positions close on Friday December 9, with the start date being early 2023.
Do you want to work in a dynamic and stimulating team environment in a boutique advisory firm?
Do you want to apply your economics, financial analysis, policy and modelling skills to help our clients in the public and private sectors solve the complex challenges they face?
Can you research new and challenging questions, see the big picture, get to the heart of the issue, look for evidence-based solutions and communicate the complex in a clear and succinct way?
You could be working across the agribusiness, infrastructure, health, international, iwi or other sectors, depending on the demands of our diverse client base.
You will ideally have:
- An honours level degree or higher in economics, finance or applied mathematics
- Senior Analyst: Three to five years of relevant work experience, either in the private sector, quite possibly in a consulting, investment or similar professional services firm, or in the public sector, in a Ministry, regulator or agency covering economic policy, finance, energy etc.
- Analyst: Up to three years of relevant experience
- The ability to apply concepts and frameworks in a creative way
- The ability to innovate, think laterally and solve complex problems
- A willingness to work and contribute in a small dynamic team environment
- Strong quantitative skills, including proficiency in Excel
- The ability to craft clear and concise written reports
